Historic Restaurant Remodel - Design Concept

The owners of this 30 plus year old, family run business were interested in an updated look that would honor their long standing clientele, but also bring in new customers looking for atmosphere while dining.

The traditonal "fish camp" theme of the restaurant was important to preserve, but we tightened that theme, and tried to meld the long standing regional tradition with a more modern, rustic, upcycled feel in which the owners had expressed interest.

Obviously, new materials, furniture, and fixtures will be installed, but we are working hard to preserve and maintain many of the historic objects and artwork found in the original restaurant, presenting them in new ways to add context and re-energize the space without detroying its heritage.

So tune again early next year to see the newly executed design and space.
