Danielle David Grinnen “My artwork and rug designs are inspired by the landscapes, seascapes, people, and details of my surroundings. My travels have reminded me to slow down, and take in the deep richness of nature and the people in my daily life. My carpet designs ultimately reflect these powerful visual inspirations as I explore them through my sketches, watercolors, and oil / acrylic paintings. All of my Deliante Design limited edition carpets are hand knotted in Nepal with the certification of GoodWeave, an organization working to end child labor in the carpet industry, and offer educational opportunities to the children of South Asia .” |
