Benjamin M. Betsalel “The weather within, the weather without, the weather or not. I view my work like the weather. A state of the soul that reflects the turbulent times and the world we live in. My methods vary from realistically rendered markings, to splatter painting and kicking, pulling and breaching the canvas. My work is disciplined by formal training in art while remaining intuitive and free. Being able to let go of what I want, or want something to be, is a life attitude and is certainly evident in my most recent work. I live how I work, doing my best to remain flexible to the reaching of other perspectives, points of vantage, and of view.” |
